The copper part and the silver part are sold seperately. This is fantastic for the new GT..
The Copper part comes with Ram Sinks. so it's basically all you need, the GPU plate is gorgeous, lapped perfect.
I don't know why the discussion is going past Zalman.. It's a no brainier..

So about extra cooling...
I've got a FC-ZV9 on my 7900GT which will put on my 8800GT. So the GPU core and RAM will be covered... but there seems to be other places I should be placing RAM sinks?
I'll have a fan blowing over the bare part in the mean time but if anyone could help point out exactly what I should cover, let me know. Thanks!

it will cool the capacitors and memory...oh it will..... trust me it will
they kinda had the right idea but, it got out a hand with the aerodynamic plastic cover. looks like it would take up 3 slots.

Hey!
what about the 7900 GTX, the four GPU holes are the same, anyone with both cards willing to check it out?
7900's GTX cooler rocks, and performs really well, put pictures if you find any site too! Thanks!

I agree, nv tried to combat the rv670pro's single slot cooler, but failed at it. 65nm just didn't lower the heatload enough to be able to do so on the bs cooler nv's slapping on. Hopefully we'll see an acs3 cooler with a lot more mass, or a cheap well performing single slot cooler for those who don't want the hr 03 gt
Nice setup. That heatsink leaning toward the right, is that the memory cooler? Which one is it and are you using MX-2 or AS5? Thanx.

Get this: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga2.php?idx=138
Then slap on 2x 120mm fans on it using zip ties. It beats out all other 3rd party VGA coolers + many watercooling solutions too (like the crappy TT stuff)
It will take up 3 slots so might not be viable for SLI, that is the only drawback.
Oh ya, this thing is cheap too, around $30 + 2x Yate loons = $40 max and it beats the $55 zalman/thermalright solutions.

Thats the SB cooler. I got the same but gonna take the 80 mm fan off, it doesn't get very warm at all.

Id be interested to know that aswell. I have a 7900GTO at the moment and the stock cooling is excellent. i would like to swap it over to a 8800GT if i decide to pick one up
far too many silenx fans in that picture for me to feel comfortable in this thread
