    How many more will base on Chip LGA775

    Hi
    Does anyone know how many more of generation's CPU will base on LGA775 ? the latest on is 45nm...so how many more will come out??? Please educate me.Thank you.

    Penryn will probably be the last, as Nehalem which is due Q4 2008 (est.) will be Socket H (715 pin) LGA1366.

    BTW: if that the case I wonder the Geforce 8800 still good till the end of 2008?????

    My mistake. sorry. Will the new LGA1366 will work with GeForce 8800 card?

    Yeah PCIE isnt changing, only Socket is changing because of new Onboard memory controller, and interconnect feature.

    One more thing, I guess all the water block or Phase change cooling for CPU will have to replace for the LGA1366 ???
