    Edit: Funny thing... I was going to unplug the memory from the motherboard and I got the heatsink on my hands while the stick itself was still plugged in the mobo XD Looks like those "paper clips" doesn't make enough pression.

    PD: ICs have this written: XBH373-AA3G any ideas of which chips could be that ?
    Power chip.

    This kit is awesome, I´m thinking to buy another kit for some 8GB fun

    I couldn't resist these when I saw them on Newegg just now. $154 at this point, which is almost half what I payed for my Tracers back in January. Gonna probably sell the Tracers. Damn things run INCREDIBLY hot, anyway.

    After reading this review I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do in Vista x64.

    edit:
    Does anyone know if this kit is compatible with the OCZ XTC Ram Cooler?

    edit2:
    Do you guys think following settings are achievable?

    -> 450Mhz, 4-4-4-12 (or even better), t1

    Make sure you mobo doesn't default to 1.8v, you'll have to save settings with you old RAM.

    I don't want to sound like a Spoil sport or anything, but GSkill will never get another penny from me. They replaced my faulty PC-800 with fake PC-800 that was nothing more than rebadged 667 Stuff wouldn't run at PC 800even with 2.3v. Newegg had sold the PK as 667, sheesh!

    Edit for $73 I got 2GB Muskin that runs at advertised speeds and voltage. 4 sticks (4GB) of it costs less than $150 from Newegg.

    I just got these and they have done exactly all I needed them to do. I wanted to keep my OC, and 4 sticks I could not do that and I tried with my OCZ's. 500 FSB+ tends to get very picky for memory but these worked like a dream. Didn't have to raise my MCH and running them at 500 FSB Ratio 1:1 2.1V at 5-5-4-15. So with these I lost some heat and mem voltage down from 2.175V + one dead Micro D9 after 5 months to 2.1V, cool to the touch and stable. I am tempted to try for 5-5-4-12 but at this FSB I may be pushing it, but I will try.

    Thats all I expected and so I am a happy camper So they can handle a high FSB, at 2.0V Orthos crapped out on me, but 2.1v and solid so far with Orthos Blend past 12 hours.

    One thing I noticed is that they are cool to the touch! Surprisingly cool! Great price, great purchase.

    The first set of GSkill RAM I bought had a default setting of 2.1v. The default setting for my motherboard's BIOS is 1.8v. The board didn't provide enough voltage at the stock setting and the RAM wouldn't run any lower unless it was slowed down to 667 instead of 800MHz effective. At first boot up, that's a problem. I learned from my first DDR2 board was keep a Slow but low Voltage stick of DDR2 so I can;
    Install it.
    Go into the BIOS.
    Crank up the Voltage.
    Save
    Reboot
    Shut down
    Drain
    Remove the cheap stuff and install the New stuff
    Reboot with overvolted RAM.

    In fact this $#it for RAM wouldn't run at 667 unless it was set to 2.2V and was still buggy then. I RMA-ed it as was all set to cheer for GSkill and what seem like a nice response until I discovered they sent me the PK version that was 667 re badged as 800. Even with relaxed timings it would not run stable at PC-800 but did run stable at 667. When I asked about this I was ask to send it back for two more sticks that "Might" reach 800. I gave up since it costed me each time I sent it back.

    The Muskin I'm using now has ZERO problems running at 800 PC-6400 with tight timings.

    Hopefully my old Ram (MDT) will not take damage through these steps, as it shouldn't be run at 1,8V + :/

    No, nothing was damaged, it was just $#it RAM LOL! 98% of the time, that routine works. This RAM was the only time it didn't work and test RAM is still undamaged. GSkill pulled it soon afterwards. So for about $220 I have RAM sitting on the shelf useless and not broken.

    That means nothing, look at what the SPD timings say. "500MHz 5-5-5-15"

    I have done some tests with my modules. 555Mhz is unstable no matter how many voltage you throw at them, so for 24/7 now I use the speed and timmings listed in my sig. 5Mhz drop allows to low the voltage 0.2v! Now rock stable at 1100Mhz 5-5-3-13 1.96v

    EDIT: Damn guys, this is awsome. 5 hours Orthos stable at 1.88 volts! Just insane for a 2x2GB kit.

    Does anyone know if the 800mhz variant uses the same ic's? Considering the rebate, $80 for 4GB seems a no brainer. My only concern would be if it didn't oc...
