    Red face In some posts macci had proven...

    the timings also matter!!!

    I think there IS a noticeable diff between 2,0-5-2-2 and 3,0-8-4-4.

    Macci can prove it again Corsair goes the wrong way by losening timings...

    Just a thought.

    Yea timings do matter

    Some numbers I've got using the same CPU, same mobo and HyperX:

    Sandra mem (buffered)
    HyperX @ 264 2-2-2-5 => 6567/6568
    XMS @ 266 3-4-4-8 => 5882/5820

    PCMark2002 mem:
    HyperX @ 260 2-2-2-5 => 12037
    XMS @ 266 3-4-4-8 => 10664
