I think there IS a noticeable diff between 2,0-5-2-2 and 3,0-8-4-4.

Yea timings do matter
Some numbers I've got using the same CPU, same mobo and HyperX:
Sandra mem (buffered)
HyperX @ 264 2-2-2-5 => 6567/6568
XMS @ 266 3-4-4-8 => 5882/5820
PCMark2002 mem:
HyperX @ 260 2-2-2-5 => 12037
XMS @ 266 3-4-4-8 => 10664
The FSB doesnt even matter anymore when the timings go to hell![]()
