Everything is our downfall, its only a matter of time before we cant do anything about it.

This is very easy to overcome, even for the average user. The only PDFs I open are school bulletins. Other though I guess might use them more than me.

Until the governments of the world start taking drastic action against the spammers and people that dump viri on us this crap will continue.
Personally I'd like to see a few public "behandings" to make the point.
Take one of these cute folks that thinks it's fun to disrupt the system with trojans and chop off their hands in a public venue.
Wouldn't stop it totally but it would send one hell of a message.

this is the title of "PCMag.com's article: Russian Crooks Spreading Gozi Trojan with PDFs ...i just copied the title to insert in the subject line.

that is why i made the "PC" comment after Perkam change it to the same meaning as in the original article ...we, as a society, are overreacting, over reaching with this political correctness non-sense...i resented him changing it but i will live with it...do i think he was wrong...YES!

Isn't Perkam from Canada? I didn't know pc was big up there.

Maybe he knows something about this story we don't. Maybe the crooks are not Russian nationalist and are in Russia to bring bad PR to the country. Maybe George sent someone over there to do this.

Maybe in a forum of this nature what I just said and what Perkam did is just silly and dumb.

BTW, the next time I see something about Americans, I expect the same treatment.

I am Russian, am somewhat patriotic, and am by no means hurt by these statements - they occur so often in our country that you become indifferent to them.

We, however, don't wait long in line for toilet paper and vodka as might be a common misconception - Moscow is one of the richest cities in the world( legally ranked ) and definitly the richest if you really dig deep :P
