Cupcakes First Dice Run *Lots of Pics*

OK I Did my first dry ice run today and im not to happy with the results but atleast I got the experience and next time Ill bench my E6850 or something

    Anyway, heres what I used

    Abit QuadGT Fully Vmodded
    2GB Gskill HZ 1000s D9GKX
P4 515 (didnt want to risk the E6850 or Q6600 Till I had some experience)
36GB WD Raptor w/ TinyXP Beast Edition
Logysis 550w (works fine and I didnt feel like ripping the tagan out of my main rig)
Copper Pot by Duniek w/10kg Dry Ice and Acetone

Just thought I would post alot of pics cause I always enjoy looking at pics of Dry ice and LN2 Benching

First off pics of how I prepped the board, I couldnt afford to lose it so I took my time on insulation

Now the area, I did it on my back deck cause I hate the smell of acetone and it was only about 10c

Results !!!!! Not that great cause the board wouldnt load windows over 4200 and there is no working clockgen on the abit quadgt except the abit OCGuru thing which is ing stupid :thumbdn: Anyway hopefully I will have better luck on a P5B Deluxe or a P5K

    The Aftermath !!!
The insulation held up very well and there wasnt a single drop of water on either side of the board even though I used very little grease

Well at one point it was about 3" away from the top and as soon as I started running Spi32m it bubbled up so much it was spilling out (but I guess acetone isnt conductive )

great pics and nice clock speeds Cupcake

hmmm i think you little bit over did the board insulation, personally i never insulate that much.. cos it really does not get that humid over here so there fore not much condensation will appear while doing benching session with dice or ln2.

Nice Job CupCake and BPC is down for server maintenance until Monday.

Once My 3 stager gets completed we need to have a benching weekend with the cascade and some Ln2 plus your pot

Find some Neopren, No need for the tape ?

Also there is no need to fill the pot more than ½ You will just freeze the top of it for no point

But keep up the good work m8, Dryice is FUNNY
