    13c+ core temp difference

    i finally got round to upgrading my loop

    Before: ddc3.1 -> 240rad -> tdx -> ek8800fc -> pump

    now: ddc3.2 -> mcr320 -> fusion with 3.5mm nozzle -> ek8800fc -> pump

    on the old setup there was around 4c difference on the cores at load, but after installing the new bits i have a huge difference but still reduced temps.

    i thought it must have been a bad mount, so 5 mounts later i thought maybe i should record this

    Mount ->
    Idle:
    core 1- 19 19 18 20
    core 2- 23 23 21 25
    load:
    core 1- 32 33 33 33
    core 2- 46 47 46 50

    yes, its cold in my room

    there is no air lock as far as i can see, ive tapped knocked and bumped every way possible, no kinks either.

    anyone else getting a problem like this? is it even safe to leave like this?

    Thanks.

    Seems odd, almost like you are only loading one core... what are you using to generate load and to monitor temps?

    2x stress prime 2004 and core temp with vista fix if that makes a difference.

    i use everest for the system tray when i aint to fussy about knowing accurate temps, and it reports the cores wrong way round

    Yes,q6600(lapped 3.3) core's 0&3.32c.Idle
    Core's 1&2.23c Idle.
    Same difference for loads.
    According to core temp .95.

    Edit:Its most likely not the mount.Just the way it was made.

    If you are not running 64 bit, plz run TAT to generate load and to read load.

    a hah! Have you thought about removing the IHS? AMD IHS's are known to have terrible bond between IHS and core... much like the old Intel Northwood days.
