    QX9650@Dragon F1/ 2900XT 1GB Version on air Testing

I still wait my New Tek-9 GPU pots coming, so I test 2900XT on air first.

This QX9650 has cold bug about -110, but it's enough to test 5460 3D05 06stable.

    Amazing job Andre!

Are you really pushing almost 2V through 45nm CPU??

When you think of it, it seems common for the xtreme guys pushing 1.9~2v for benching and yet I rarely hear about died CPUs, these Core 2 cpus sure seems to be tough bastards.

i bet the high voltage isnt as big of an issue because of the metal gates?

fugger was saying that the cpu liked as much voltage as you wanted to put through it.... wonder what the voltage limit is?

05 gains nothing from the 2 extra cores so he "cut them" out problably he may have gained a few Mhz going from 4 to 2 cores if he tryed

Very nice Andre but I'd like to point out that the most impressive thing to me in your pics is the RAM ---everyone seems to have overlooked that. I think that's the first time I've seen 900+ CL6 for anything, let alone 3D stability. Very very impressive.

Yeah, I noticed that to. For me it is a bit of gambling about how much voltage to give. But if you dare, they seems to scale real good real high. Here I have ~2.33v:
