I just sold my 8800GTX a month ago. I was hoping that nvidia is kicking out the new G90 series fast but I believe that they are playing the waiting game so they can get the max $$ out of the G80. Because ATI/AMD is not yet a real treat.

To be a professional noob/idiot
* Default factory speed is for noobs.
* Everything must go above the speed that the factory consider safe.
* Everything for more performance
* Everything fits, and everything can be broken.
* Most problems can be fixed by adding a volt or two.
* Post things in your signature that makes no sense at all.
Awesome good!
When is starts ?

Um, so how would one get a score after first run? You cannot know score unless you submit online, and for more than one single online submission, you must buy this app. I think contest is not gonna happen unless futuremark sponsors it.
um?
what futuremark bench are we talking about anyway. but from my experiences, you can upload at least 3 benches using the free version of 2k1, 2k3, 2k5 and maybe 2k6 (not sure on this one, haven't really used it much).
besides uploading != running. you can run as many tests as you want for as long as you like. you have the option to save your results and upload them at a later time. i usually do that, because in some circumstance my rigs cannot connect to the interweb while benching (firewall off = everything blocked) or the network decides to stop working at fsbs beyond a certain point, ...
ah and you CAN see the score even without submiting. with the newer futuremarks you get to click on "details" (or whatever) et voila - the scores are visible.
sky / s!p - we are oldskool, dammit.
Not on Vantage sky
Kind of sucks that you have to upload to see the score, I like running benches with ethernet, sound, and ATA channels disabled in bios
Bump on this contest? I'm eager to embarrass myself with pathetically low scores
did i miss something? is vantage a new fm benchmark? gawd, 5 months trippin all over the world, and i miss it? aaha. linkage anybody?

Getting this one figured out so the prizes go to the correct people that will use.
Should be up soon. Maybe Thanksgiving deadline.

Haven't played with Vantage yet, I was under the impression that it didn't let you save the files but required immediate upload. Looking forward to playing with it though
prizes should only go to users who contribute to folding@home heavily. They are the real heroes who often buy thousands of $'s worth of equipment soley for helping others. (DDTUNG for instance)
If any of the prizes involve quad cores i would hope some of you guys that win would at least consider sending some his way.
