    Utter nonsense.

The guy is very mislead - faulty temp sensor, or just outright lies.

He still hasnt produced a screeny with orthos on all 4 cores and speenfan/tat/coretemp.

My feeling is that he is simply mistaken and does not intend to mislead anyone.

Hes happy in his little world ..only danager comes when he starts recommending his floored solution to someone else.

Completely impossible. ...... i'm not one to bash people, but wtf??? If Gaco wants to prove it, to shut everyone up, then do this:

    1. Use TAT for 30 minutes to heat all 4 cores.
    2. Use AtiTool to heat VGA cards for 30 minutes.
    3. While TAT & ATI tool are running after 30 minutes, also have CoreTemp open, then take a screen shot and post it.

Tis the only way anyone will believe you my friend.

It saddens me to see testing done like this, and fools spreading info based on such tests which will cause others to part with their cash. Since when has gaming been an acceptable method of stressing CPU+GPU to 100% load for a sustained period of time?

Is using TAT a good and accurate way to load test your cpu? I've been using Prime 95 and Orthos but lately I've also been using TAT and I like it alot.

In my experiences, TAT gets all your cores hotter than anything else i've ever used. Use Coretemp to look at your temps, then use TAT for 10 min. to stress your cores, then use Orthos to stress your cores and watch the difference.

With a quad core, NB and G80 on the same loop, he'll be lucky with just 50C using TAT on the most expensive H20 equipment. More like 65C for his system.

personally i would dump everything he has in that case and rebuild from scratch because everything TT puts out is utter junk, anyone with any real knowledge of ambient/sub ambient cooling knows this, hes just hard headed I know a lot of people that are this way about their computers. Im just gald winter is coming up cus my Alphacool Nexxxos 360 POS rad i bought some time ago has been having a hard time keeping decent water temps with the heatdump from both the tec and the q6600, (still get decent temps: 5*c Idle and 15-20*c load after a long days of gaming)luckily nothing else is in that loop i just cant afford to buy a nicer rad at this point, too many other expenses on my plate

Texas isnt exactly the best place to try and do water cooling with high heat outputs, it really ruins a lot of it but no worries im working on a new 3 loop setup that is completely external (1 loop being chilled by a phase unit im building and the other two are normal loops that will be on PA 120.3's if i could ever find any in stock and it will all be enclosed in a case im finishing up designs on right now )

I remember seeing people over at Anand forums rave about how the Thermaltake pump was exactly like a top of the line Swiftech one...until the pump failed

Thermaltake and performance in the same sentence? I think i choke when I read that. Something tells me Gaco used Tjunction 85C instead of 100C and didn't fully load the processor.

Yeah, nice to see him be big enough to learn a bit.
I just hope he learns enough to junk the TT WC before it leaks.

We've got a beauty in Oz!
This guy has an o'clocked Q6600 and TT goodness.

Idle OC'd to 3GHz (my normal OC) is about 19degrees
Loaded OC'd at 3GHz is about 32 degrees.

actually i own most of the shares on watercooling over there. My handle over there is Aigomorla incase you guys didnt know.

Its changed a lot in the 2 yrs ive worked to clean up the koolance/TT mess. People know those kits are absolute crap now even on ANAND.

[H] forums... *sigh* now thats another story.

uhhh i have a nudge to pick on this statement tho:

Swiftech and Danger Den for the win.

DangerDan is falling in there product line. It absolutely sucks. I cant believe EK wasnt recomended over DangerDen.

Swiftech + D-tek + EK For the WIN should of been the better statement. I would love to get my hands on MIPs stuff. However no vendor in US carries them. :[
