    Chevron is $4.75 for Premium 91 Unleaded.

    Diesel is way into the 5s now, $5.15 IIRC.

    It's only going to get worst fellas.

    I just paid $4.89/gallon for 91 octane here in Long Beach, CA at a 76 station. Pretty much $70.00 to fill up the tank on my Audi A4. Gasoline has doubled in price here in SoCal since the Democrats took control of congress in 2006 with the promise of reducing the cost of gasoline.....

    ... great job they did.

    I remember paying $0.89/gallon for 87 octane in 1997...

    Prices in DKK, but the point is pretty clear... Comparing the prices in same currancy...
    745,9100 = 100 Euro

    Oh and for the American's, in Europe; 100,00 = 100.00, and 1 mio is 1.000.000,00 not 1,000,000.00, just to prepare you from mistaken.

    6.18$/gallon...or 5.92usd /gallon at current exchange rate.

    one oil salesman/fanboy/commentator said it's because China is now using more that they have another market and great excuse to put prices up

    2$ per litre here we come.

    Prices in Holland (per litre)
    Petrol = 1,679 euro = 2,64 dollar
    Diesel = 1.479 euro = 2.32 dollar

    Price per US gallon:
    Petrol = 9,9792 dollar
    Diesel = 8,816 dollar

    These high prices suck. Maybe i need to look at LPG cars?

    Prices have come down a tiny bit here in Long Beach, CA where I live. A couple weeks ago I paid $4.89/gallon for 91 octane and now it's $4.71 at the same station. The other day I put 10 gallons of 100 octane race fuel into my Audi A4 (my Oettinger chip can switch between stock, 91, 93, and 100 octane maps with the push of a button) and I paid $7.96/gallon. Only a year ago I was paying $4.99/gallon for the same 100 octane fuel at the same station in Fullerton, CA.

    I find it interesting that oil and gas prices have DOUBLED since the Democrats took control of both houses of congress in 2006. They've blocked every attempt to drill domestically, even at the 200 mile shelf off the coastline.... while at the same time, the Chinese have built oil rigs just outside the US waters near Cuba and sucking up the oil WE should be using.

    It seems the chances of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid actually doing something constructive in congress other than re-naming post offices, bridges, highways, and packing pork spending into everything they can find isn't going to happen. Especially since this current Democrat led congress has spent less time in session per day than any other congress in US history. Oh... and I love how Nancy Pelosi made it a pet project of hers to mandate the capitol building cafeteria to serve them a far more fancy menu such as mahi-mahi and other expensive items that we, the taxpayer, get to foot the bill for. They're probably prepping a few hundred pounds of Alaskan king crab legs for tomorrows lunch as I type this. Well.... that is if they actually show up for work.

    I'm voting for John McCain specifically because old people wake up early, get to work on time, and eat off the senior citizen menu. (j/k.... I'm voting for him because his empty promise of "change" is meaningless and unspecific. Heck... Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao, Castro, Lenin, etc all promised "Change"! Yea.... things changed alright, just not for the better.)

    That, my friend, is the most interesting post I have seen in a while. So much so I HAD to log in and rep;y! LOL

    How true all this is? Dunno but you sure sound convincing. I like the last part! LOL

    Personally, I just think he lesser evil of two... that's why he's getting mine.

    Regarding oil, it goes down 5 dollars in 2 days and then it goes up that in one day and keeps rallying the rest.
