Wasn't vapor X based on ref card just "higher binned"
IIRC you could flash that bios to any 4890 ref card.
And ref 4890 volt mods never got worked out due to issues.

I'm still looking for what is or isn't out there on this, but so far I'm seeing the standard Vapor X 4890's weren't reference designs and thus of course Afterburner isn't able to control voltage. Anyone aware of vmods for the Sapphire Vapor X 4890?
