Darken, why do you think you need Vdroop mod ?
have you looked at software or bios ?

If so, DONT TRUST it m8.
Find a multimeter, Stick the black "pin" into ground/the 2 middel whires in a 12 Volt 4 pin molex, they are black.

Then put the read on the back side of the motherboard, at the coils. Look at the link above, it states that the coils are what you need to use.

Also, Vdrop and Vdroop are 2 different things.

    Dont recall what is what.

But 1 ting is what the volt is at ilde = no load on CPU.
Then load, The volt will always droop from idle to Load, or somtimes even increase. But that is okay.

problem is how much the volt swings while under load = instability

And it is okay for you to give 1.4 Vcore in bios and only get 1.33 idle or load, stability is the important thing!

Do you know if rev 2.0 PCB differs from 1.0? I could take some pics but I have rev 2.0 only.

    EDIT:
Looking at pics on Gigabyte site I noticed that rev. 1.0 has DDR3 slots on the picture... WTF?
    http://www.giga-byte.dk/FileList/Ima...s4_1.0_big.jpg
Something is seriously wrong with those pics... rev 1.0 has DDR3 slots but DDR2 written on PCB and has LPT port, rev 1.1 has DDR2 slots, DDR2 writing, and LPT port; only rev 2.0 seems to have correct picture.

p35 ds3p has bad vdroop with quads but not so bad with c2d . i been looking for vdroop mod for this board for along time now .

the mcb are the same for the ds3p and the ds4 but the vdroop mod for the ds4 won't work on the ds3p .

    Yesterday I got my new P35-DS4 rev2.0.
So I did some measurements with multimeter...
With F11 BIOS there are now "Loadline Calibration" option.
I thought that it helps for Vdroop, but I was wrong:

...it just makes real Vcore in idle the same as set in BIOS (drop).
    Vdroop is always the same...

So, is this ~0,015V Vdroop too big? No mods still for that mobo?
