Having a hard time trying to get the DFI RD600 working with a Q6600 GO
It keeps throlling and going to the 6X multi even though I have set the Conroe P state multiplier to 9.
I can't get my head round it, any idea's?

Have you disabled C1E and EIST in you BIOS ? That controls the voltage and the multiplier of the CPU, and sets it to 6x while idling.
Throttling is another thing - lowering frequency while under high temperatures.
Sorry didn'y explain properly, C1E disabled, not sure about EIST but throttling is my problem, I'm trying to find my best Overclock and when running all 4 cores @100% it keeps dropping down to the 6X multi, I watch the temps and they drop then it goes back up to 9X temps go up and it drops back down to 6X. The things is it only reaches 58c max.

If there's no option to disable throttling in BIOS you will need to use RMclock.
Just raise the temp target....on bios.
if your exceeding 80c, it will throttle no matter what you set the bios to, thanks to benchzowner for letting me know that, because i swore i broke somthing.
I had this same problem with my P5K board, though I didnt realise it was throttling at first because my temps were low.
But eventually I found disabling "CPU TM function" fixed it for me. Maybe the RD600 has that or a similar option.

I can't find a way to stop it, but along with it throttling I cannot get over 350fsb no matter what, even setting 6 X multi, I've reseated and got slightly worse temps.
I'm thinking it "might" be a motherboard issue, I've posted in the RD600 thread, I cannot find anyone who has a quad going well on the RD600, if anyone knows where I might find more info I would be gratefull.

Did you try disabling "CPU TM function" ?

Doesn't have the TM in the BIOS but tried RM clock and it still did it I unticked the extended throttling box applied and it still it does it. The core temps shows 48c in Right Mark CPU Utility when it's going from 9 X to 6 X.
Thanks for the idea's and keep them coming please.
Off to bed will check back in the morning.

IIRC there are a few options you need to untick in the advanced tab of RMclock... I forget the exact option labels but if you can post a screen shot I can advise further. My rig it out of action at the moment otherwise I would just look it up myself.
My quad has been throttling to under load on my p5k, i disabled the tm thing as mentioned above and its fine nowit had me worried !
