    Looking for new speakers

In short, I am looking for new speakers. My budget is around $1500 for a pair. I would prefer bookshelf speakers. I have a Technics SA-GX690 amp/receiver (its like 10 years old or more), but I think it should handle new speakers fine?

My first choice is Sonus Faber Concertino Domus. Opinions?

    I was also looking at Jamo C 803, Focal 806 V, B&W 685, Castle Durham 3, Monitor Audio GS10...

These speakers will be used to listen to rap/hip-hop (no, not 50 Cent ), I don't need mega bass however, I do have a separate woofer... I would like crystal clear sound with good mids and highs...

Well, any opinions? Anyone good with this stuff? What should I go for?

polkaudio LSi9 might be something you would like to look at, http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/lsi9/ MSRP: 1149.95 per pair (US), you can buy them for ~$800. I would also recommend any higher end Klipsch bookshelf speakers. I'm no expert in this field, somebody else for sure here knows much more
