The tube is in brass, base in Cu......it is still to cleaning up obviously

Only one tip.
Having the holes on the copper , it will transfer the cold faster(i assume you will use them with LN2) to the screws.
The screws will go trough the VGA...and the ice will enter under the insulation too fast.
Maybe the best idea is to use a seperate holdown -like others do- to fit on the base...and then the screws on the holdown and end to the backplate.
Just an idea!

I think he is using a seperate hold down, the holes are for the hold down to bolt to.

5.6GHz E6700 and two 2900XT's @ 1100MHz = Fast...really fast.
