3 displays

Is it possible to have:

2 dvi displays as my main

and 1 LCD tv connected via an hdmi port

using a 4870x2 or 280gtx?
or would i need to go Sli to have 3 displays connected at the same time.

Reason being, i have 2 x 1680x1050 lcd displays for my display and want to add a 42" tv for my HD movies.

That should work just fine -- SLI will not work with multiple displays unless you can get a matrox triplehead (digital edition), but I'm not sure if the HDMI would still be active.

SLI does support multi monitor but not with three displays only 2.
