    Kinda frustrated...

Welp I got my DD Maze4 NB cooler from Petras today along with my Swiftech MCW30 for the SB. I have an eVGA 680i. Turns out, Nvidia 8800 GTX will not fit on the mobo with the SB cooler on. I have tried a few different orientations with the hard mount, but it's just not working - the barbs hit the stock GTX plastic cooling fan/shroud!

    Any ideas!?

oops, forgot to mention that all sb blocks hit stock 8800 cards.
They must be watercooled for the sb block to fit

Alright well I planned to w/c my 8800 gtx. So, what combo works with 680i Swiftech MCW30 on SB, and 8800 gtx, water water block do I need on the 8800? I liked the EK full coverage but it looks like that might not work out

I'm using the EK full cover on mine, but their EK Nf4 1.1 on my MCP. So can't comment on clearance of the MCW30 with first hand experience.
Most using swiftech seem to put one of their blocks on the 8800 too.

If your using Firefox, you can block sig images with the Adblock Plus plugin.
    Circles SucQ!

If your annoyed by sigs telling you to put things in your sig, then put this in your sig

Thats ok I thank you for your help - I have the swiftech MCW30 down on my MCP, but my 8800 with stock cooler will not fit - it hits the barbs at the very least. I situated teh MCW30 a few ways, no go.

Malik - EK water blocks... on the GPU? Which specific water block? Looks like I need to order something to take care of this so I can use my PC!

Can you perhaps get a picture so I can see how mine should be situated?

Are the appropriate pics under "new revision"?

If so, I see a 90 degree barb on the south bridge - is that necessary or did you just like the way it directed the hose? I am still hunting for a good pic of the south bridge so maybe I can find out.

Thats the EK8800 GTX full cover with delrin top, right? Any reason for the delrin? I was thinking acrylic..

AWESOME MALIK! I thank you so much! I ordered the EK 8800 GTX full cover block with delrin top also, more barbs for 3/8", and some other stuff from Petras. I should have it Saturday or Monday I'd think! Yay I get to keep my Swiftech! I really really love the idea of not having any small buzzy fans.

Thanks a ton this forum rocks!
