    My First Build (the thread)

    new pics at end of thread!

    i'll just update my first post with more pics as i get farther along... modded the case and installed the radiator (finally!) i only had a 1/2" drill bit, so boring the holes out for the tubes was a PITA.

    sorry about the ty pics, it's super dark at my place right now.

    i bought the Asus P5k deluxe, and rebought the same mobo from frys.


    it's all up and running! i leak tested it for 10 hours, and then installed vista! it idles at 33C. ( is that normal for a q6600 @ stock?)

    its a apevia mx-pider case that i modded the radiator onto. it looks much cleaner now that i finished.

    edit: btw, that retarded fan was built into the case... i'm going to prob drill a piece of plexi and cover the hole instead of leaving it and the tacky looking fan grill on the window

    Some black painted moder's mesh would look better on that side fan and keep airflow going across your heat sinks.
