    Which cpu block?

    Hello.

I am not an expert on this, can u help me out with this question .

I want to buy cpu waterblock, nut I dont know which one to buy.
I have something looked up but I dont know which is best.

    1.HEATKILLER® CPU LGA775 Rev2.5

    2. D-TEK FuZion CPU Block

    3. DD TDX Block 1/2" Intel Socket 775

or is there something better out there.

And another thing, mayby one of u know any stores where u can buy watercooling stuff in London UK. Well actually i am not from London ( i am from Estonia), but one of my friend go's to London next week and he can get it, if there is any watercooling items selling shop.

Sorry for bad English, not good at it

    Thanks.

My vote is for the D-TEK Fuzion too. I have to say that i don't own one but i have see many people suggest this cpu block in this forum.

I don't know a shop in London but you can try the Chilled PC UK which is from England. This is their site http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/index.php

You can always try the famous Petra's Tech Shop.

I agree the Fuzion is the superior choice, but I wouldnt call the TDX crap... it was a good block in it's day and still performs well on single core CPUs.

You're best bet for WCing in London is Tottenham Court Road, there are loads of PC hardware shops there, not sure if theres any that do watercooling parts. I just buy my stuff online.

I love my Heatkiller Rev2.5, but I don't know how it stacks up to a FuZion.

    So... FuZion.

Anyone (like martinm210) want to test it?

I would also like to know the performance difference between FuZion vs GTX.
Atm I'm using WC HK rev2.5 LGA775 and it works fine w/ E6750@3,6GHz@1,375V idle: roomtemp+2C; load max 33C

largon, yes 0.95.4 and also idle in BIOS. Actually the delta depends on roomtemp. If roomtemp is ~17-20C(it almoust winter atm in Estonia), then delta is ~2C, when roomtemp is above 20C, delta rises up to ~4C...
Hmm, I lied about load temp. When I used only CPU block, then load was below 40C, now with NB block, load is ~42C.(look at my sig, also the link...)

That chart is only for dual core. It does not measure the use of split quad nozzle on the FuZion.

Out of what you have listed, fuzion bar none.

However the apogee gt/x are also worth considering.

I ran a fuzion for a while, but due to the long nature of my loop (and my striker constantly going to CPU INIT) I moved it to a passively cooled system where the only block is on the CPU. I got better results there.

The DD TDX is a fine block, provided you're going to use a single core CPU. For a dual quad it's fusion, apogee gt/x or bust (IMHO having used all of them) beyond that it boils down to what is in the same loop.

My vote goes for the FuZion or the Apogee GTX w/copper top.

    1 more vote for Fusion!

Had mine for a month or so and have been extremely pleased. However, came from air and haven't personally compared any other blocks.

The Fuzion costs 20EUR more in Europe than either the TDX or the Heatkiller.

...or he can buy it from http://www.aqua-pcs.co.uk/blocks-npr...ge-2-123-c.asp

    EDIT: Euro block comparisons: http://watercoolplanet.de/index.php?...ime&order=DESC

I would get a Apogee GT and bow it, then mount it with the flow barbs parallel to the cores. I've been getting quad core temps better with my bowed GT than with my Fuzion+quad nozzle (go figure!) Oh and the GT is hella cheaper, too

    breakneckspeeds,

    Are you sure you are getting it right? I have the reputation of being perhaps the biggest swiftech fanboy on planet earth, but are you sure that your FuZion with quad nozzle is really worse than your GT ? {I have both of those as well, in addition to GTX}
