yes I do , why do you ask ? I noticed on my GF's laptop this looks much better. I have a 7600gt btw on a 20inch LP2065 . I was thinking of swapping over to a GTS or GTX but I'm leaning towards a ATI Card the 2900 to be specific .

powershot g7. as it stands with p&s cameras, these companies are shoving massive amounts of pixels into the sensor, causing a decay in image quality and bringing up the noise values, even in low iso settings. it's a shame, how marketing is taking precedence over what's best.

    oh, the image looks fine.

wow, those are very nice and clear... but try something with much darker spots in the picture like the original. that way you can test the noise levels. not sure if i posted this before, but i use noise ninja for cs2 and it's a great program. just takes some playing around with to find the sweet spot.

You won't find a lot of noise in macro shots.

It will show up more with a lot of zoom, at least in my experience.

Upping the ISO creates more noise, every time. Lower ISO the better, but the side effect is slower shutters and more chance for blur.
