    strange QX6800 wall

    hi guys
got a very strange wall on my qx6800 here .
when i whase testing it under cascade it will go to 4950mhz and freez or reboot , no mather the voltage .
could this be the board or the cpu with the wall ? i can run super pi up to 4944mhz and wprime the same , 3D like aq3 and 01 4.85/4.9ghz and 06 4.7ghz with only 1.7vcore .
the board is P5B dlx max fsb is 460 on air so no where near its max :s

you could always test for fsb by lowering the mult and going for higher fsb or raising the mult for a lower fsb

i tryd multie 11,12and13 non off them help 1.7vcore to 1.8vcore nothing .
i ask if this could be the P5B dlx board that wont take it any higher or something like that becaus temps and vcore are not the problem .
and i never have seen a cpu hitting a wall and just say's no higher !

ahh thought you meant a fsb wall vs cpu wall. Since you have a revision c1 p5b, and being the great ocers those boards were, I'm willing to bet my money on the cpu though it would be odd especially since you have a g0 qx.

You could always try popping in another cpu into the board/using another mobo to see if you don't encounter the same problems
