What is the double Heatercore comparable to?

I know the double heatercore is great but needs good pressure fans, but what is it comparable to? I already have one and was thinking of using push pull 4x yate loon medium spds. Would this have comparable results to let's say MCR320? 220? in between?

Well, based on surface area and thickness, I'd guess that it'd be between the MCR220 and MCR320, probably closer to the 320 if you use shrouds.

    But that's just a guess.

I noticed no temp dfference going from a double heatercore with 2x sunon 108cfm undervolted to 7v to a MCR320 with Yateloon slow fans. ZERO temp difference, and if I did it again I would go with Medium or High rated yateloons.

The biggest selling point for the upgrade for me was aesthetics and ease of installation.

It's thick, so it's probably like a BIX 240 without shrouds and somewhere between a 240 and BIX 360 if shrouds are added.

Pressure drop is right in line with a BIX 240, it's really good and slightly better than the MCR series.

so your saying a heatercore will have less pressure drop then a MCR series? or you saying its greater then a MCR series? because i thought the MCR had less of a pressure drop then a BIX.

I think he means it performs about the same as the bix while having a pressure drop of an mcr.
