    680i and 680i Lt

I think I made a thread on this but I can't seem to find it. Which of the two would you recommend? Please give me the low-down on the heat issue concerning both board's south bridge and north bridge. The weird thing is if you go on newegg.com, the 680i Lt is priced higher than the 680i, evga boards. Isn't the LT supposed to be the stripped down cheaper one?

LOL yeah, LT is the cheaper one, if you are not going quad core, go with the cheaper 680i, if you are going quad, go with the A1 or LT.

This is all pre-planning folks. Newegg has it for rebate and ect. So i might go with newegg instead. Thanks for the offer though.

680i LT silicon is the same as 680i silicon... differences are in what features the board manufacturer chooses to implement. For example, my DFI 680i LT has all the same features and capabilities as the EVGA A1 board.

Make your choice on board features and price not on the particular model or part # of the silicon.
