INTERNAL PICS OF F1 Ex.Ed. BELOW
hehehehehehe maybe not
it's really a great visual seeing LN2 drops dancing around at the base of the pot
it's a true masterpiece. It has great mass yet it's also able to provide temps swings on demand.......the way the bottom "works/guzzles" LN2 is incredible >> it's very difficult to explain but i can see what the big fuss was about
it was also very interesting seeing how much more LN2 your classic bullet two piece pot like Kayl rev 3 uses compared to F1........
we benched with Skulltrail setup with F1EE pot on one CPU and kayl rev 3 on the other......i managed F1EE temps and i would get it to the temp required and just splash a little so often.....where kayl pot needed constant supervision. Kayl pot is actually pretty good as well....i can only imagine how earlier revisions would have acted....you leave these pots for 20 seconds and F1EE only loses a few degrees...the other pots it another 10C warmer easily already. It absorbs the load great and holds it........if you need a quick 5C jump NO PROBLEM AT ALL......now i am talking about a jump in a few seconds here fellas and it sits....honestly i reckon vince must have sat there looking at the changeover to first CPU test on '06 and then drop to 3D again in last test thinking how do i "create" the fast response
well he got it
i do need some practice though as i was getting some splashbacks because i didn't want to use any extensions but straight pot styro cup fills
we benched both QX9775 and E8500 and to be honest i really didn't notice the QX being any harder to manage at all
maybe my E8500 is just as hot lol haha but it was easy going
