    QX9650+DRAGON F1 first attempt: 7.921SPI 1M

    A really difficult day today
A lot of humidity, yesterday night never stop to rain
Lost a lot of time with my GX2 for nothing.
Many times the vga disabled 1 of the 2 gpu and the 3d score are terrible.
Also I've made a really week insulation and the mobo in around 30minutes was completly frozen
The Dragon need a really strong insulation
After many hours I was able to test a little bit the Dragon and is simply amazing
    I've bench 3d'03 and '05 without problems @ 5.7Ghz 1,91v
But cause of bad insulations mobo goes crazy
Unfortunately I've also kill 1 of my 2 GB of CS 14400
So, a really bad day, I'm happy for the POT, is awesome.
Next time with a Foxconn X48+my 9800GTX TEK9 cooled I hope to do something's good

    SETUP:
    MVE LAB 30
    Dimastech bench table
    QX9650 L739A664(CB @ -143)
    Dragon F1 EE
    Asus P5E3 WS PRO
    1GB CellShock 14400
    Club 3d 9800GX2
    Sirtec High Power 1200W
    Win Xp+Sp3

    Some screens, nothing special

A really low score in a testing '06 run

    CPU Testing through 3d '05:

And this is the screen that save the day
    SPI 1M @ 5847Mhz=7.921

No Eram and No Max Mem used, only realtime SPI.

    Tks
Yes, with 9800GX2 non oced and only 1GB of RAM.
As I say, a lot of time the vga in OC disable 1 gpu and the score sucks
    I've do a 3d'03 @ 5.7Ghz with vga @ 752/1121/1901 but only 62.7k
    Not saved the screen.
Really frustrating to bench under LN2 with this card

I don't know the really cause of my stick of ram's dead
    Only 2.12V when she dead

In the SPI shot I've set 2.2V to the survived stick

    @Solarfall:
Hey, this board is really good my friend
Super stablility on the voltages and no cold boot problems

    @ Circuit:
    Tks my friend.
Now I need a board that give me mouch v-core
I won't risk an OVP on this, I've only this CPU

Hum...very strange the memo die like that
i'm using 2.1 in my tracers @ 800mhz 4-4-4-12...2.1 it's much voltage (2.1v) without any air cooler on the memos?
i think i can put a lower voltage, but later i gonna try, i want to buy a p5k premium

    Yes
Well' you have DDR2, but I know that many people do over 2.3v on DDR3 also.
Maybe tomorrow is possible that all works fine again, not 100% sure that the stick is dead but is more than possible

The chip can go higher but he want more volts and my P5E3 with this cpu over 1.92 is really unstable, impossible to bench
I'm already searching for a BlackOps

You can do a controlled ovp with a trimmer and fixed resistor

    No,2,1V in DDR2 is cold even for none air cooling,in DDR3 2,1V it's the equivalent to 2,4V in DDR2

Core slowdown (disabling SLI) is the cold bug on these GX2 cards. Don't take that card over ~-45c and you should be ok. At least my card behaves that way.

    Good cpu you got there
You are as good as your samples are!

Great job Giorgio, your pot is very strong. You can try a new Asus P5E 64 Evolution for more Vcore.

    @ All: Tks guys
The Dragon is really amazing, no other words for describe it.
Just I must take more confidence with him, is extremely reactive

    @Sf3d: Tks friend
Well, my GX2 was on stock cooler
I've this problem also with cpu on air.
Sometimes, I don't know when and why she disable 1 gpu
    Maybe a bios problem?
Other people have my same problem

    @Pippo: Tks
Waiting for Foxconn Blackops when I'll be able to find it
