    Opera 10 issues

    Hey folks
I've been noticing some odd webpage behaviour with the new Opera 10 build, behaviour that seems a little too obvious to be an issue with the browser as opposed to an error somewhere on my end. The problem seems to be related to the behaviour of text in boxes - rather than stretching the box out to the left or right, Opera displays the text in a downwards centred column, one letter below another, stretching way out the bottom of the box. Also, for some odd reason, I can't view any images on the eVGA forums - nowhere else. Neither FF or IE have any issues with any of these sites - see screens below.

Anyone else come across this behaviour?

    Running 10 Beta, build 1615?

Thanks for the input, by the way.

simple fixes I think (hard to tell from your screenshots, so ignore these suggestions if they're patronising)

The two buttons on the bottom right (next to the zoom dropdown) -
    - you have fit to width turned on, click that green button off and it should sort out the 'column' bug (although even with it turned on that shouldn't be happening)
    - the button to the right of it controls image viewing; you may have it set to show cached images only. click that button till it shows a non-broken picture and the tooltip reads 'show images'

Sorry again if you already knew those and the problem is somewhere else

Thanks for that - turning off fit-to-width fixes the column bug, although some websites no longer stretch, which is a little irritating. Any idea why this would be messing up my columns?

As for cached images only, not enabled on an websites.
