    3.9gig QX6700 on air in a barebone!

    How is this?

    The standart Shuttle Ice unit it is a little heatpipe cooler with 2 fans on it

    Fan 1 is a 70x70x15mm and fan 2 is a 92x92x25mm

    you better pull out that CPU and put it in a decent mobo and some good cooling so we can see what it is really capable of but that looks really good

    60 - 70C idol temps, that's madness


    Most QX6700s overclock well, seems pretty normal to me.

    Nice clock on the QX6700, but your SuperPi 1m time is terrible for 3.9Ghz it should be closer to 13sec flat at that speed.

    None of the cores did go over 72-74c at any times
