    OCZ Ram Cooler

How do I get my OCZ ram cooler to fit over ram chips with tall heat spreaders? Also, why does my OCZ ram cooler contain two different types of stand offs? Their only difference between the two is that one has a peg on it and the other doesnt.

Hi, the 2 type of brackets just allow a different mounting options. The one with the peg is a little secure and the other is in case you need to shift the unit to one side off of center.

Unfortunately the unit was not designed for tall heatspreader applications. It only works with "normal" height heatspreaders. Sorry.

Does this mean that the OCZ XTC ram cooler is incompatible with OCZ reaper RAM, which probably qualifies as having "tall" heatspreaders?
