    DDR3 Reaper

I have the system in my signature and I'm currently trying to run one set of sticks at a time to get their rated speed. I am having some issues getting the sticks to be stable at 2000MHz. 9-9-9-24, TRFC 100, all other timings on auto/SPD. I am using 1.66 VDIMM and I was wondering if there's any other settings I would need to consider to get the sticks stable. I'm also running them in triple channel in the primary slots with their own 120mm fan.

    Thanks for your great support!

I would like to request an RMA.

    - Though I found my problem, one of the sticks is completely dead. It wont even boot at SPD or even by itself. The other kit works great... though it does error a small amount im not gonna make a fuss(might be timing issues). The other sticks in the other kit work fine except for the single stick..

I see that you're getting an RMA, but to clear up your stability issues, you're probably going to have to boost your VTT. My OCZ Plat 1600 wouldn't run at its rated latencies without a boost to 1.3V =(

you mean northbridge volts? i was using 1.33, all the same that one stick definitely seems to have fixed it, im running 3 now and its sort of stable at 2000. i dont plan to run 2000 247 but i want to be able to get at least 1800 on better volts all the time.

Nope, VTT is Uncore voltage, which needs to be increased if you want sticks run fast.. its CPU dependant, some needs more (C0/C1) some less (D0), but you can't have 2000MHz on stock..

Btw. those are based on Elpida-Hyper probably.. which explains why are they dead.

Yea I noticed you use 6 sticks, well you need definetly to boost your uncore.. btw. its quite hard to get 6 sticks working on 2GHz.. you choose bad mobo for this I'm afraid.. but I can be wrong.

Yea they are Elpida based, luckily there's a good warranty. I don't plan to run stock anyways, no point of getting fast ram and not overclocking anyways. I'll likely run 6 sticks between 1600-1800 the performance increase is so nill anyways going to 2000 mhz with 999-24 because thats about what these sticks can handle.

looking how these reaper run hot at stock 1.65 (and very low orice also) i still think it is micron
