Just arrest the next person that brakes the 3dmark record..

    lol

but that really sucks man, just a couple of weeks ago i was robbed too.. someone stole my money.
I get so freaking sick of the kind of people that refuses to work for their own money and try to get rich by stealing other peoples hard earned money or properties..
Its a good thing I don't know who has my money, i might do something bad to him..

both of you good luck with getting your stuff back.

heh, sucky part about fingerprints is that they won't help you find anybody, just help id someone you suspect... most importantly, i hope they get their passports back.

You really don't leave $40k worth of HW in a car where it can be seen.

I think all the european members on this board should keep scanning ebay for the missing hardware, as I am 99.999% sure that the thief does not know the real value of these parts.

I spoke to Marcus earlier today (thanks for the help Michael Schmidt at AMD!) and he's OK. He was rather down after it happened and yesterday he wasn't exactly in the mood for overclocking. He got some good assistance at the Swedish consulate (getting a new passport) and at the moment I'm sure he and Shamino is benching the crap out of a Blitz Formula, QX6850 and, of course, Radeon HD 2900 XT. Why go for second rate hardware
He said something about 27,000 but it was hard to hear him through all that noise

I say the people that stole the hardware, but both Marcus and Shamino are OK and benching with Mushkin (booth G20 in Hall 4 if you happen to be in the Germany, Leipzig area) the last I heard. It takes more than thieves to stop these guys.

Theo on the other hand lost a bit more and the last I heard from him or Marcus, he was still in a downward spiral. He lost more than just hardware, but a lot of work and hours. I really feel sorry for the guy.

Anyway, I'll try to keep you posted on any records achieved

Alrighty, now that's what we wanna hear! Unstoppable like a ton o' bricks these two are.

That really sucks to hear about Theo. I get distraught when I lose a paragraph for a school assignment, losing articles like that must be crushing.

It just sucks...we had such a great time during cebit here in hannover and I hoped for another great and perfect event in germany - well that's gone now.
Even it is not my hardware I feel like these suckers have stolen a part of the oc community.
I mean it was a 5.4 gig chip for a show - so much work inside for all the guys and some bloody stupid people just break in there and get it all out...

I keep my eyes open for suspect ebay offers and cross all my fingers that they get thoose guys and nail them down...

    * HEY THEO we just had a call from the polizei. Your passport and belongings have been found. In another state. In both senses.

The polizei were pleased to hear the Ed knew you were alive because they were just about to dredge the canal where the bag was found in case you'd toppled in.

Ich haben keine Deutsch speak, so I hope they won't arrest you because my German is so bad. They have now talked to the Leipzig polizei because the bag was found in a different state.

Man that truely sucks but surely the people that got the equipment will do something stupid with it and post it somewhere and one of us OCers will find it in a "valued section" somewhere on the web.

I think he is on about the thieves not knowing what they have stolen Delph1, to them it's just a processor and probably don't know it's some cherry one.

If it ain't watercooled, I don't wanna know.
