When are you going to change the Stealth as well ?

damn thats pretty HOT.. but what about staining, doesn't copper start to loose its shine after a while.. or is there some sort of metal varnish covering the copper housing.

What about a Delrin or Acrilic top. I've seen somewhere that somebody made a custom Acrilic top, it look very sexy, plus no aluminium. I have the opinion that swiftech should go back to delrin tops.

I believe the common fear with delrin and acrilic tops for the GTX are how they handle the bowing. It is unknown at this time whether they crack or bend when bowed.

"Common fear"
What common fear? Like the boogie-man, they don't exist.
Update
Word on the street is that Swiftech may sell a complete Copper version of the GTX. This would bring the price of the GTX up about $10 more.

OPP
Thank you OPPAINTER for the heads up I will be placing an order as soon as it is in stock at Jab-tech.
Yes, the acrilic top was from someone in Germany and it was just a prototype or something for his own use. It would be nice if they get comercialized, like alphacool´s or petra´s top for the DDCs.
Regarding the bowing, I belive there are Apogee GTs (delrin top) being bowed with a thiker o-ring. What is more, the bowing king of the hill (Fuzion) its made out of delrin. I don't think thats the reason. In swiftech they like alu tops for their blocks. I still remember the galvanic corrosion problems I had with their MCW5000 series. No alu for me. Dosen't matter how high grade treatment they put in it.

Thank you!!!
I totally Agree with nikhsub1! This is how it should have been from the start... no aluminum and no dye... and honestly $10 is nothing to warrant risking your loop with aluminum... but lets not get into that now because this is happy day!!!
Now I just need to hear the final work on whether the GTX will be sold with the copper block or not and then I will purchase 1 or 2... Glad to see a top only for sale for those who already purchased the block...

Any idea when we will see the complete Copper set for sale or is this just a rumor?
Thanks,

I dont know why, but the bare copper doesn't attract me. I guess im like virtualrain... I hope the regular aluminum plated top will never cause me any troubles. Perhaps before it causes any troubles Ill be replacing the waterblock because of a socket change...

I'm still waiting for someone in the UK to actually have the stealth in stock, so perhaps I might be able to buy one of those in a year, or two.
With any luck......
