Anyone else remember the days when 1 gallon of gas cost less than 1 gig of HD real estate?

should be noted that its 79 and use the promo code good for 10 off 1 piece.
and as always with newegg, if you used the promo code once you cant use it again.

so no buying one today and one tommorrow..

    i think.

I remember paying $175.00 for a 4.3 gig WD HD at a computer trade show and smiling at the "deal" I got..
next was a 6.4 WD that cost me $200.00 and I ran a ftp server off of that and a 3.2... Funny to think on now..

My firrst PC had a 454MB HD. I thought I was great.

Ever notice that the old HD's have a real nice spin up whine? Back then when you hit the Power swicth you really knew the PC was getting going.
