    Andy's birthday bash

    Went to the pub for a birthday meal and then the manager comes over and says "Do you own a Mercedes?" half way through the meal.... heart sunk coz you know it's on fire or a meteorite has wiped it out while you were enjoying the steak.



    Van driver had hit it and then driven off but unfortunately for him and fortunately for me someobody took all his details. The manager of the pub confirmed he's also on CCTV as well

    Once I have finished reporting it to the police and doing the insurance paperwork I will finish off my 39th birthday in peace.

    Happy Birthday Andy, Shame about the car but atleast it'll get sorted out easy enough (judging by the white paint marks I'll guess it was hit by a transit?), that AMG badge still looks very nice though .

    Damage doesn't look too bad, but go all out with new tyres, etc. It'll be on his tab and you should get something out of the incident.

    we hear people complaining about losing their privacy rights because of these cameras, what we don't hear are people's rights that are protected by these cameras

    oh , and burn him good , he probably did not like the idea that some one could afford to drive the car you drive and didn't care about banging your car up

    Off to the police station tomorrow to tell them to pick up the CCTV footage, they caught it all on camera but due to the data protection act cannot release it to me. It's all on hard drive so I need to get it quick before they overwrite it with webcam chicks or something

    It's the bumper I am worried about, that is an AMG bumper not a normal C class one and those guys just use that as a licence to print money.

    Might be the most expensive birthday meal ever. Next year we eat at home!
