*whoops* Now I know it's past my bed time, totally forgot I asked you a question :S1.5v
Looks fine, just awfully hot. You measuring your ambient yourself or relying on the TV?
Try a remount, it can't hurt.

ambient on windows in bris says 30c which is normally accurate..
But i have severally tv's,monitors other gear in my room thats heats the room up even more so i normally add 2c but its probably hotter than that...
I'll try a remount later on tonight...
@ 4GHZ 1.6v my rad is hot to touch so im guessing im reaching the max of my rad... even with my scythe kaze ultras on high
disruptfam, how much space is there between your rads and the power supply? considering a build alike this.
Are you rads pushed all the way to the front?
-sigh- guess two MCR 320s won't cut it (not on top of each other)
yes they will

Thanks, I completely forgot about that thread.
how concave is the chip? thermal paste being used?
When using my AquaVentus external cooler, which was setup for optimal cooling using the case as a shroud and 3 san ace fans at max I was getting these temps.
3.6ghz @ 1.41V loads were about 48C across all cores.
Could be the rads. Never used those radiators before so don't know how good they are, you do have fairly warm ambients though.

the chip isnt that concaved.. looks decent i was using mx-2 but switched back to ceramique for the re-mount
@ 3.6 atm 1.5v temps prime small ffts
79 79 74 74
Temps are worse than before... damn..
even with my ambient these temps cant be right?!?!?!
can these magicool rads be that bad???
my d-tek fuzion base is scratched up a fair bit could that be why?
my rad is hot to touch when loading bad sign ?
having extremely bad temps like this make me want to rip this computer down and just chuck in a 120.3...
where are the rads hot to the touch? the fins? the tanks? and how is actual airflow? can you feel any difference in air temps of the air being sucked in and blown out? it would be great if you had any other radiator that is known to be better and throw it on so we can determine if it is the radiator or something else.

the tanks are hot.. airflow is strong but doesnt make a difference in temps in fans are low or high!!! which is weird because if the rad if hot it's reaching its maximum yes??? but having the fans high should help temps but dont ????
Air is being sucks through the rads....
i do have a mcr320... but would require me tearing everything down to put it in... which is the last thing i want to do
idling @ 55c and as soon as i put prime on jumps to 78-80 within 2 secs...
That is true.. but if fans increasing in speed isn't helping and the radiators are hot to the touch the fins may be clogged(possibly maybe) with dust? I'm suspecting it is the radiator, just to be sure do check your pumps .
Well you can probably take ur current cpu rad out from the mobo side and disconnect and drain the tubes and attach the MCR320 without too much fuss, you'll need to strap some fans onto it and refill the loop. Hopefully some more experience wc guys can chip in esp if any have experience with those radiators.
Out of curiosity do you have a link with a clear picture and specs on that radiator?

i recently cleaned out my rads so dust is not the problem...
all my pumps are working and my d5 (cpu loop) is @ #5
here is a comparison with the magicool rad against others...

seems strange. But nonetheless the only way to identify the problem is to isolate the major possibilities and test them. And unfortunately that is usually a major PITA. I remember I used to constantly be adding and removing components to test what worked better, and that was when I was cooling the quad with 2x 120.1's and tested it vs a heatercore. Technically the radiator will be fairly easy. I'm sure its not the pump, but maybe possibly you have a bubble trapped in your block? the block will be hardest to eliminate as a possibility, since if it were me and I was testing it I'd 1st take it out and tear it apart to inspect it.
