Yeah! Thats a great price. The case just looks good. But i doubt it'll be watercooling friendly...

Haha, I have all 3 of those up and refreshed daily in FF.

    Here's some chatty links.
    XS - CM 690 (Coolermaster's New Case)
Coolermaster Official Forums - RC 690

I'm really curious to see if it'll fit w/ the side cpu fan over the TRUE.

I see eSATA on the spec sheet- what's the other end of this cable? Just standard SATA, so the board doesn't know the difference? Would be nice, but I can see it causing problems on boards that don't support hotswap properly... Didn't see it mentioned in either of the threads above, and I'm not joining CM Forums just to ask one question.

    Edit:
Greatly appreciate, Jodiuh. Thanks a mil.

Good for the price but not what I would consider my liking for a case in comparison to Lian Li or Silverstone.

Fry's for $80 bucks. It was a tough choice between the 2nd rev P180B (had slots, fan controller...basically a black P182) and this one. I've used the 1st rev P180B before and always felt it was a bit too crammed. But there's no denying it's quiet operation...even tho the HDD's in the bottom are roasting and a big PSU pretty much kills any chance of good airflow down there.

Anyways, here's some more pics. Gotta sleep, talk about it tomorrow. Raptors are much quieter...on par w/ P180. Side cpu fan won't fit w/ TRUE, but gpu fan's ok w/ HR-03 plus. Side fan's kind of annoying right now cause I haven't taken out the grill. That'll go soon heh.

    wow nice pics

out of interest, why did you tape up the back vent?

in UK, its noticeably cheaper than a P182 (£80) vs RC690 (£50), I think this well be my next case as soon as its available in UK.

Good to hear about the Raptors too, I have one, and the access noise it makes is annoying at times.

Well, I got tired of carrying the beast to LAN's. And I really wanted something to blend in more. Add to that the kickass HDD cages. They're not even screws, you just plop them in and snap in place. Best HDD implementation I've ever seen. It cools as well as if not better than the Stacker and that's w/ all the grills restricting air flow. As for the back vent, the TRUE's backplate couldn't have been more than 2mm away. The standoffs in the case are smaller than the Stacker's and there's very little between the board and case. Of course that's because it's offset like the P182 so that you may easily place wires in the back. I still have room for 1 more fan just above the HDD's hehe. Also, the USB/eSATA/etc on top make things MUCH easier. I can't believe I've gone this long!

Mmmm...Silverstone...ouch back! Maybe if it came w/ a little robot to move it for me? :p

    The honeymoon is over...

    Fan Grills:
The fans are much louder due to grills. A dremel would solve the problem, but then I'd have a very exposed pc to the elements...not so good for the LAN party. Also, they don't throw nearly as much air w/ this restriction.

    HDD Cages:
Tho quiet and a definite improvement the Raptors can still be heard, so a mod for elastic bands will eventually be what happens for them.

    Power Button:
The power button is located in the most inconvenient place...I suppose the back of the system might be worse.

    Needs Window:
I feel completely helpless wo/ the ability to see that all fans are running and no cables have snuck out to cross the fans.

    Size:
I miss my big inconvenient case already

    Top Mounted Fans:
There's no way the case is going under my desk w/ the 2 top 120's. And this makes it difficult to reach w/ cables. Also, I cannot aim it at the corner where a fan exists to push the air up and out of the room.

    Bottomline:
Not a bad CM, but some of us just need biga$$ cases.

ZZF always has free shipping on their entire store. Great when you have to buy big items.

Anyways, you forgot Newegg. Then again, Chiefvalue = Newegg

Yeah, just noticed that lol. $19.99 shipping is a no go for Newegg. I'm about to order my second one from Zipzoomfly.

sry to burst the bubble of those who just bought it, apparently newegg has a $20 rebate going on right now, which makes this 59.99 + 19.09 ship...

hm Jodiuh I got a question, do the 120mm fan that came with it have any 3 pin connector with RPM sensor?
