so, i wouldn't have any problems with my crucial ballistix?
as far as it does not overvolt (does it? :p) anything I don't mind about the inaccurate readings
also, i read from i4memory that there are some issues with enermax psus.
is anybody using enermax liberty to comment on that?
my sticks are Micron D9GKX, however up until recently i wasnt haveing any problems. im not sure if previously it failed memtest #6 as didnt bother to run memtest due to not pushing the RAM hard so dont know if anything changed but certainly wasnt having all these random crashes. only running this QX6850 @ 9x400 just now as only need 1.36V and the hot humid Ozzie weather plays hell with the ambients(and loads) when you have no aircon in small rented flat.
edit: will post all BIOS settings later when i get home from nightshift.
going to run orthos blend later and see how it goes.
I just love european winters.
Anyone has 6x600fsb on any cpu?
I will try so tonight.
Maybe true for Enermax, but from my experience, no issues at all with Ultra's. I am using the Ultra X3 1000watt psu with this board and it is 100% rock-solid. In fact, I get better voltages out of the Ultra than I did with the PC P&C 1000KW psu I replaced (wanted modular). I think the Ultra problems were from several years ago when Ultra was a less than good name in the psu market. Lately, though, they have been turning out some very high quality units. The X3 line is top-notch.

It's not a reason to RMA no, because the Power supply actually works and any tests back at retailer or manufacturer will show that it works when they test it.
As far as I'm aware, all Enermax's have some sort of design with one of the rails which causes the incompatibility (IIRC, the 5v rail but don't quote me on that).
If it ain't watercooled, I don't wanna know.
This is what I thought in the beginning.
But when you buy a power supply, it is meant to work with all the motherboards!!
It is not like ram that you have to check the compatibility lists of the motherboard.
Is there any workaround for this psu? Any mod I could do, without losing the warranty?
The funny part is that I bought this psu for my girlfriend (we live together) and I have two of them here!!!
Nope, im using ballistix 667mhz overclocked to 1100mhz 5-5-5-15, all 4 slots filled, total of 3gb, (2 x 1gb and 2 x 512mb), I went for the 3gb route, firstly cos 4gb is a nightmare to get stable on almost any board along side a quad core (MEGA loadsa volts right across the board), and secondly cos Windows 32bit only see's 3gb out of a 4gb kit, and still runs nice and smooth on a 64bit OS, this way I can keep both OS's happy.
As for inaccurate volts, just dont go by smart guardian's readings are telling you, go by what the bios hardware monitor tell you and what you set in the bios.

Hi Can anyone help me am looking at buying 2 3870 Graphic Cards! How is crossfire on this board!
JIMMYZ runs 2 3850 Crossfire with 0 issues and its right on par with my board the current DFI AMD
Now if you can wait for about till the end of the week after I get my other Mobo and finish my review on this D.F.I 790FX-M2R I will be putting these two POWER COLOR HD 3850 up for sale in the forum and asking $300.00 for the set and I just bought them last week for my review to show how well this board scales linearly with GFX Cards on new Spider Platform and out side of the review I neither want crossfire nor the extra pci-e bandwidth taken as I would rather use my Intel NIC and the two onboard for Teaming File Transfers
Heres what they can do @ Default Clocks

whats you're voltage though? I can run my Cell Shock too but at a high cost of using allot of Vdimm and chipset juice
You also have no time clock in the lower right hand corner in you're screen shot either and not to doubt you but.......you have stated this before and never showed full Blend Prime run for 8hrs plus screen shot to back this up for 3 months now!
