    P4 Undervolting by pinmod

    I'm new in this field and I have some problems understanding Intel's VID codification. I have a P4 2.4c and according to its datasheet, it has at default voltage VID[4:0]=01101=1.525V. If VID would be 11101, I would have 1.125V. I don't understand how to modify the value? I just need to isolate the pin or just shortcut it with VID3?

    IIRC isolating is the way to make a 1 from a 0.

    1=isolate the pin

    Well, is there any good way to isolate the pin without damaging the cpu or the socket? I tried with nail varnish but it didn't work.
