How is the MSI 875 NEO with the 1.6 bios?

i'm reading some mixed reviews about this board... unfortunately i can't search this forum about this board as it doesn't like 3 character strings... (i won't get into how much this bothers me). i read that the bios was all flakie and whatnot on this board. i also noticed that they have a new one out and was wondering if anyone had a go with the 1.6 bios? Neo-FIS2R <--- had to add that in for the boys and girls searching for info on this board and are getting frustrated with the 3 character bullsh*t. hey, i'm not compalining, i'm just flat out b*tchin. any first hand info on this board would be much appreciated. thanx.

EDIT: yes yes... the worlds smallest violin, blah blah blah....

i am currently running my 2.6 C @ 265 FSB. everything is oki, default volatges and 2.7 Vdimm. Have been folding for 24 hours no probs. Only set back is mem timing is always 2.5-8-4-4 no matter what you set in bios. using the DDR 333 divider.

At stock 1:1 no OC you can set mem timings ro 2-5-2-2.

My Neo is a true POS. undervolts like hell and it doesn't like Twinmos PC3700 it seems. i can do 14x280 Prometeia cooled, but this mobo at least mine, doesn't like 5:4 (333) divider...

Where can I get the 1.5 or 1.6 bios? on the website I only see 1.4?

I only get 4300/4300 in Sandra benchmark I need to do 225FSB 1:1 to get over the 5000/5000 mark that I get stock on other boards. OPPAINTER wasnt quite sure why, and I have NO IDEA...anybody using this board ever have that problem and know how to fix it?

ive tried bios 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.32 and 1.4 and the only difference between them is memory timings and how they react to settings

I just downloaded 1.6 AND WOOOOHOOO, my Sandra using the Turbo setting went from 4300/4300 to 4960/4920 I am sure if Ultra-Turbo worked for me I would get 5k +

Also, why dont my memory timings work right? Pretty much no matter what I set it to, it goes to 8-4-4-2.5 (SPD for my OCZ 3700 GOLD) and does anyone have Ultra-Turbo working? my monitor just stays black and I have to reboot a few times to get it to post again no matter how much vdimm I pump into the ram

The problem is the bios...not the board, the board runs fine, its just having the timing issues that the other boards had, MSI just needs to fix that

it's just that it seems that it's takin msi a bit to fix this bios problem. been how many versions now? i dunno, i was thinkin about getting this board, but then i started hearing all these bios "issues" got mine narrowed down to asus or abit (cw).
