    G-Pot Rev.1.03 is ready...

It is time for Revision 1.3...

It is based on the 1.2 Revision with some improvements like :

    1. Bigger mass on the bottom.
    2. It is about 20cm instead of 22cm but it is more wide.
    3. I removed the last step from the bottom(outside) and make it one piece with the whole base to add more mass too.
    4. The interior is fullfilled with "lines" , i mean that it is not plane and crafted..it is like you have very small rings inside the whole pot from the top to the base in order to have as bigger surface as it can have from this rings to hold temps better on high loads....

    Some noob photos..

    They arrived n this situation..:p

    10 to start...

4CM from the bottom to the holdown area

    20CM tall

And the inside base(the photos was the best i could do with an optio S6 camera)

    regards
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

    Thank u metro..

In Hellas the copper is epxensive i can say(without knowing the price to other countries).
Before a year the price was 10€ or 13.7965usd/kilogram
and this year is 12€ or 16.5558 USD/kilogram
    ( 1 EUR = 1.37965 USD or 1 USD = 0.724821 EUR today)

The machine hours is expensive too..

how are the hold downs? i think that is one of the most important things for this kind of containers and one of the things that has held me from doing one.

There will be a holdown and a backplate from black acetal in order not to "hurt" the mobos..

Thank you Gautam, Cpt.Planet, Misko and Blind..

@CPt.Planet : What kind of copper you are working with...my pots are from electroletic copper...

@Misko : The hole is 6.5cm, the wall thickness is 0,5cm, so the diameter is 7,5cm and to the hold down area and lower is 7,7cm...

@Blind : I am dreaming of them for 8 months....it is hard to make good GFX containers , always changing the design, and when i don't like it, destroy the paper with the design..and from the start again...:p
I will try to have them by October ready...but i don't know for production as it is a very expensive thing to do..

GoriLLakoS, has Hipro still been benching with your older revs lately? Or is he also using an Evo pot?

Either way, is he going to get one anytime soon?

    They look very nice
