I went today to Tottenham Court Road and checked all the stores for Q6600 SLACR none had them.

I've also wrote e-mail to http://www.trend4pc.de/ with quote for the CPU, asking for stock and payments. Should have answer by tomorrow.

Trend4PC have now changed there listing to preorder with ETA of Thursday or Friday. I'm really hoping the rumour that the next batch of Q6600 being shipped into the UK are B3 is false. I'd be so if the UK got screwed again

I heared that In germany they will get boxed versions in about 2 weeks, and yes the tray versions are available in some stores, unfortunately I dont know anything about the UK.

Btw. I've called SCC and dabs corporate sales (my company is their customer) and asked about stepping of Q6600. Also I've asked them about shipment date of new batch from Intel. Obviously those companies don't by directly from Intel but from reseller, though they will ask their contacts. I'm expecting phone call today or tomorrow.

Hey i just had call back. Dabs' reseller have SLACR !!!! but its not what they've got in stock.

Well the above post was Dabs answer for my request to check their stick ( simple call to warehouse ). But i guess its too much.

I've asked them to try and do a stock check, if it's possible to find out which version, but 1 supplier is saying latest version another is saying older version, so it could be a mixed bunch.

So right now I'm not confident that you will get a latest version, but I have asked them to look into it, as to advertise as 2 separate quicklinx for the 2 versions if possible!

I was told the next 4000 odd through the (three I think it is) intel suppliers in the Uk will only be getting B3 stepping so when that 4000 is sold we may get G0's

Yeah any warranty issues would be done direct through Intel. The other reason i ordered mine from Germany is they can told me what batch they currently have
( L726A951) try searching for it on here and you'll see some very nice overclocks. . Like i said before it is slightly more expensive but there is no flaffing about checking the online stores every 10 mins for stock updates.

Yea thats why I also always order cpu or anything that u need a curten batch they will give u, wel allot of those german stores, here in the Netherlands, almost none of them will give u PFO, and yea RMA u can always do it directly to Intel so u dont need to send it to the German store first.

Same with my eVGA RMA, if u send it to the store it would only slow down the proces, they need to test it themselfs to confirm and then they need to send to evga and then after evga tested and confirmed they send a repaired/replacement to the store, then the store sent it to u.....
So from my experience, it doenst matter where u buy it, espacially when the price is good and it is available if u need any RMA just send it directly to in your case Intel.

Overclockers are still on pre order but the ETA has been removed i wonder if this means they wont be getting them now. Gladiator computers has a limited stock though.
