There are very few amazing online FPS imo. That's why single-player is still such a draw. Honestly, if I want to play an amazing online FPS I just have to turn to CS...I mean other games might be popular at the beginning but eventually everything else has fallen to the wayside. And I'm not sure when/if that will change.

    hmmm

I paid $0 for America's Army, and I've put in 680+ hrs on it. Seems to have lost none of its enjoyment either.

Just started going through Farcry... again ;-) Still so damn cool.

As has been said already, one of the levels thats been tested has taken some peeps around 2.5 hrs to complete so unless there's only four levels then i cant see this game taking only ten hrs (for me that is)..... unless of course you'd rather just play the game gung-ho styleee and miss 90% of the enjoyability (and the work put in) of the game. To each his own.

I will be taking my sweet time with it, i will be throwing Koreans into the sea and watching them be devoured by sharks etc, i will be shooting barrels off shelves for the kill, i'll be exploring the huge vast island in a stealthy manner and so on......

I remember seeing a vid online once where this kid finished HL in about 45 mins, i'm sure its been done with most games but i tell you what... HL took me alot longer than that.

So much more suspense can be built when one takes their precious little time on a game. Especially when the difficulty level's not normal.

dont worry 2 months after launch EA will release a expension pack that adds 2 to 3 hours of SP gameplay and will cost only 19.99.

That's the idea, typical of anything EA.

Classic EA. Trying to milk every single penny out of anything. Just watch: When they release their next expansion pack for BF2142, they will require you to have the first one.

Imagine farcry in multiplayer with x10 the graphic. Who cares about singleplayer. Thats just for customizing controls and joystick
