    osx

    So is tiger and leopard downloadable upgrades? or is it a whole new payfor upgrade like switching from windows xp to vista? I was thinking a getting a macbook but i don't know if i should wait for leopard to come out.

    If it is close to launch they have in the past gave a certificate for a free upgrade. Worth asking. But it is a pay to upgrade thing.

    They usually wont do any sort of reimpursement or upgrade unless you buy it within 2 weeks of Leopard release generally.
