I like the XtremeSystems forum very much, i'm woundering around for some time but i aint an active member, just reading topics =].

I never heard of such projects, only folding@home on the ps3 and i'm glad that i recently subscribed to this forum so i could receive the message from movieman.

I want to help too, but an old 1ghz thunderbird with 256pc 133 ram and a geforce 2mx wont do the trick. I've read your letter movieman, small bits help but... this friday i will get my new system so the first thing i do is let it crunch =]

I hope many XS'er will come and help the project

    no luck register/sign in

I have registered successfully and tried to log in a zillion times and all I get is not valid crap & believe me I've triple checked to see if caps lock is on, etc.. No more patience, guess I'll continue with my other forum's folding fo Stanford.
Disappointing but too frustrated now to keep trying.

hey im working on a system right now that is exactly the same speed as your t-bird and i hope to get her running WCG tonight edit: well maybe not the cpu just roasted it's self. i think the vrm's on the ecs mobo blew and fed to much into the sucker. i also just finished getting a 1.8ghz p4 running. it's caseless but running WCG

nice to see so many new members!!!

and for Chapper i am sorry to see it did not work for you. perhaps try creating a new account and logging into it.

    Hi,

Cool to hear that it can run on a six-year-old-system, i'll register tomorrow ( i'm a bit tired ) and set the system up for some "crunchingtime" I don't really use it, so it can be on for the whole day.

    my new system will be:
    e6750
    gigabyte ds3p
    crucial ballistix pc 8500
    xfx 8800 gts 320mb

this will be much smoother for these actions
