Hey ive found with F3's thier memory controler likes TRC set to 23-24 .....for 4-4-4-6 timing ... they dont like 25-26,has to be 23-24 to get the low TRAS while heavily overclocking the mem.

Could mean 1s off that superPi possibly ....My Patriot would only do 888mhz till i raised the TRC up . Ive tried 23 and 24 with same result. It allowed me to run my 5600+ @3.3ghz with 4-4-4-6@1000mhz on my Patriot 6400ELK @stock2.2v and my 6000+@3.51ghz with 4-4-4-6 @988mhz@2.2v all four sticks of 512!

Note: i just installed Water about a week ago and see 22c idle @ 22c room temp on my 6000+ @1.58vcore and also shaved my IHS to 4/64ths of an inch .I then applied a high polished lap job on IHS and my ApogeeGt, Waiting for a BlackIceGTS360 Radiator from SVC to add to my MCR120 and MCR220,The As5 is almost @165 hours of use .When i hit 200hours then i will shall see how far i can go past 3.51ghz.I am going slow so i can see every lil change in my system . I could progress faster but after ruining a 5600+IHS removing it i am taking my time for now on

Seems real good with stock !!!!!If your gonna buy a performance heatsink Pick up a (Thermalright Extream 120) Lap the heatsink with 600 then 800grit until smooth ,it dosnt have to be shinny and sand using no water .Clean it with ketchup or alchohal then use a Dot of paste the size of BB in center of IHS ,gently install heatsink and then give it a lil 1-2degree twist left and right to seat if you are not going to LAP IHS! . Then go for 3.5ghz With the best Aircooling you can achieve 1.58-1.61-v Core stable with no real worries.@3.3ghz and up it takes about .1Vcore for every 75-100Mhz more you want to sqeeze ,provided it stays cool and your stepping is willing! my 5600+@3.3ghz 1.56Vcore and also ran @3.4ghz@1.61 Vcore AIR!

    my 5600+stepping was CCB8F-0711TPMW.......

Same processor as before but I changed it cause I just didnt like the temps on it. This is what I am doing now. Not a really high OC, but thought people looking for average OC info on the new F3 mgiht be interested.

Hopefully my next X2 will do better But I think a database like this should include both good and bad steppings...

    X2 5600 CCB6F 0713SPMW
    3.16 GHz @ 1.44 vCore (stable)
    TR XP-90
    48 C load

I won't bother to find the highest "screenshot stable" speed. That's a waste of time, IMHO

Hi there Quintero. Your next X2 being a Phenom then or having issues with your patience (like most of us)

Man I love your ram settings!

All steppings should be included as you say. Suicide runs is a waste of time, but it's a fun waste of time

yeah, that is pretty damn good, but about what my 4000+ can do, and i suspect most of the other F3's. they're insane at low voltage, takes me just 1.225v for 3.0ghz. scaling at higher voltage is beyond sad in comparison though

Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

more isn't possible because of the "coldbug".
    maybe with watercooling...

    3.6 ghz 24/7 is awesome for A64

this is what I do: load both cores with something. temp goes up and you avoid the coldbug.

Keep in mind that the X2 5200+ F3 is an Energy Efficient model with a TDP of 65W. Its stock vCore is 1.20 - 1.25 at 2.6 GHz. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure if that result should be considered amazing. But who knows how high it clocks at 1.5v...

Guess I'll get another K8 X2 for my HTPC. Don't think I can wait for Phenom, and I usually steer clear of the first batch anyway.

I've been trying to balance it a bit. I want my sticks to last, so I only use safe voltages. 2.2 v should be perfectly ok, and I've only increased two of the drive strengths to 1.25.

Hmm after looking at that page it does say the stock is 2.6 for the 5200, and yet the processors max multi according to the board is x12 which is a max of 2400MHz. Very strange...

    Edit:
Well since you are right in that a 150MHz OC on a little less than stock volts is not that impressive, here is a shot of it running at 3GHz on less than stock volts. The processor DOES have a max multi of 12 (mine does at least) so technically mine is a 2.4GHz processor. So you can either call this a 600MHz overclock on less than stock voltage, or a 400MHz OC. Take your pick. CPU-Z reads the voltage as 1.184, motherboard says 1.180

And yes it is completely stable. I can run dual prime for 24 hours without any errors and 32M SuperPi

What board are you talking about? No way that a max multi for a (supported by BIOS) 5200+ is 12x,it must be 13x.If it is 12x,than the BIOS is not supporting the CPU correctly.

I am on a Biostar TF560 A2+ board, and it is only giving me a x12 max CPU multiplier. Ill try and get a picture of the bios later today when I see a friend of mine who has a SD to USB adapter I can use to get a pic off my phone onto my comp.

Try updating the BIOS.On the other hand you got "for free" a 3Ghz on stock volts,so maybe there is no point in reflashing the mobo...
Nice CPU,a lot of power there.

    .....

Right 2.75GHz @1.18V isn't hard, I tried this with mine F3, but 3.0GHz at same voltage is a no go on my 5600+.
So his 5200+ is still short of amazing compared to other F3 revisions and simply amazing compared to older F2 cores .
