Craaap, now I don't know whether I should go with the Stealth or EK.
Hmmm...
Comparing the Flow Rate vs Pressure Drop graphs of the "vanilla" and the V2, I can't help but say WOW.
The restriction is now much more reasonable. Looking forward to some thermal resistance data.
You might even make me undo three hours of mounting MC14/21s now that I'm keen on volt modding my 8800 GTX.
Did you see the temp comparisons on this page?

I just have.
I was so focused on the graph that I didn't notice the temps in the latter part of gabe's post...
If you already have a properly installed MCW60 and you're not planning on volt modding your card there might be no point on upgrading the block.
However, if like myself you feel tempted by the soldering iron and you foresee that unless some ghastly incident happens the card is going to stay in your rig for another year or so IMHO is well worth it.
convex gpu block?

I'm in the same boat, just biding my time for something to come out.Craaap, now I don't know whether I should go with the Stealth or EK.
Originally was after the EK blocks, but since it'll be months before Petra's will get them back in stock, the new Stealth sure does look more appealing now.
Wow, Stealth v.1 = 5.5mH2o @ 1.5 GPM
Stealth v.2 = 1.1mH2o @ 1.5 GPM
That is quite impressive.

look, we have never done this before, I mean releasing a revision that early behind the original release.. and I feel pretty bad about it.
So we are going to do this: We'll give $40 off the purchase of Rev2 for anyone who owns the original. This is a factory direct deal. Just turn in your original invoice to michelle, and we'll ship you the Rev 2. As usual, this offer is valid for 30 days effective ship date of Rev 2 on July 23.

I wonder if there will be a similar revision to the MCW60?

hmm, this is something we should certainly consider. But it's more complicated. The top is injection moulded, which will require either a revision or a new mold.
right now, were completely focused on the new line of products coming up at the end of month. so were' pretty busy.
But I agree that we should put this on the agenda.

Hey Gabe,
It's great to see all the design improvements made towards the Stealth. Like someone else had mentioned, I'd have bought this if it had hit the market about 3 months earlier. With the G92 about 3 months away, it makes hard to justify putting down another $100 plus for a waterblock that most likely won't be reusable.
Here's hoping you guys come out with the G92 FC in a timely fashion (preferably in an all copper design as well). I'd be the first one in line to buy it.
In any case, when will we be seeing the long promised revision to the MCW30?
