Wait another ten days and you guys will be able to buy all the E6550/E6750/E6850/Q6700s that you want from NCIX

I'm still torn between E6750/E6850/Q6600G0/Wait for Penryn. The Q6600 will be the best bang for the buck for future apps, but immediate gains would seen best with a highly overclocked E6x50. Who knows, Penryn may end up wiping the floor with Conroe and make all of these chips seem obsolete

Lowfat Im in the same boat as you. undecided and torn between the quad and E6850. I think im leaning more towards the quad. Seeing it hit 3,8ghz make me go mmmmmmmmmmm
