More Ballistix PC2-6400s on sale for $85, plus shipping, after $30 MI

    Here we go again...

Maybe prices are going up and maybe they are not, but in the meantime, pick up a 2x1GB kit (or two) from Mwave. Rebate valid thru 7/20/07 and good for two kits of DDR2-800 (total rebate for 2 = $60). Not as good as some of the earlier deals, but still one of the better out there right now.

Lately these PC2-6400 kits have had dual SPD for both DDR2-800 and DDR2-1000 and have been hitting 600MHz (DDR2-1200) quite regularly so its pretty good stuff.

Link fixed. Kinda weird because I tested it right after posting...or at least I thought I had.

Based on how they're clocking, I would propose that they are D9GMH.

I would definitely say D9GMH. Mine do 500mhz 4-4-4-8 at 2.3v. Low binned GMH, but almost definitely GMH.

What kind of clocks can you hit with 5-5-5-12?

I'll be ordering these once I get out of work

I dont know bout the 6400s but I got 2 sets of the 8500s last week & they OC poorly & they ran really hawt. I had a dominator blowing on them & I couldnt touch'em. Plus the heatspreader wasnt sitting on the chips & would not stay & the clips come off easy. Back to Mwave they went.

my board doesn't support it, but i'm quite sure I can do 500mhz with my tracer as well. I do have the SPD dumps for it.
