    PS3 Questions

    Simple and to the point...

    1. Backwards compatibility - how many PS2 games work and how many don't? Selling the PS2 is a great way to recoup some costs.

    2. Upscaling - how well does this work for PS2 games? I have a 1920x1200 LCD and would really like to see some better resolution.

    3. Controller lag - noticeable at all on the wireless controllers?

    Thanks

    1. check here for backwards compatibility.

    2. Sony added upscaling for DVDs and older playstation titles to HD resolutions with a new firmware update.

    3. I didn't feel any lag at all.

    That's a handy page.

So the upscaling works on everything?

    Yea, DVDs, older playstation games.

They also added remote play functionality on the PS3 (handy if you have a PSP). I can't say exactly how it works since i just moved and left the PS3 with my parents (1800 miles away) and have yet to buy a second one. The price drop is a motivating factor for me to get one soon though... :p
