    Smile PLEASE contribute....(ORB database)

I'm starting this thread to say to everyone that WE MUST be gentlemen....
    What I mean by this!....

IF someone goes to Futuremark ORB and do a project search/comparison with the DEFAULT Futuremark settings, he will see THE SAME USER MANY times....This is not good for the other guys......
I mean that we have a LOT of scores uploaded.......Let's take a look at the front page of a bench....Many scores of the SAME user are up there.... BEST for me is if each one of us keeps scores up with different hardware - 8800GTX, 1950, 8800 Ultra, 2900, etc, ONE score of EACH for comparison reasons and ALL the other take them down......

I think it's NOT fair for other ppl trying to be in the FIRST (at least) page of every bench of the ORB and they can't coz most of us have uploaded and published a LOT of scores filling by this way the page......PLEASE let's unpublish the lower scores of ours of each hardware to "open" the space for other users to come up.......

    Thanks....

hipro there is a option that can filter all scores only to show the highest one of one user:

    Search Filter: Only highest score/user

Yes I know that...... BUT if someone (noob or so) leave everything to default, it's a problem....

it would be earier to get the orb to de-list the additional entries. like for example make the "only highest score for user" the default setting.
and i do agree as i try to stay on first page.

If they use this option, a user might have a high score with a 2900 and a high score with a 8800....Only one of them will be visiable....They should both be up there for comparison reasons......
It's easier for EACH user alone to go and unpublish many lower scores with the same hardare he might has...

Its awesome to see guys like you do stuff like this. It gives us lesser overclockers a chance haha. But really it just goes to show that you guys don't let stuff get to your heads and that is awesome!

I also removed a couple of results I had published during GeForce 8800 Ultra SLI overclocking and left the best one.

I too removed all my duplicate submissions , both of them.

Seriously great move and shows a humility not often found in this day and age.

I agree the databse is filled with worthless published results. Just one example: One guy(XS member) has 85 published results in 3D03 for his 7900gs single/SLI. That's a tad excessive IMO.

You shouldn't delete results, just set them on inactive

George, you've put words on what I've been thinking for ages, tho' I've been a sinner myself
Really sucks with scores divided by 10-20 marks due the entire tweaking session has been published..

Apologies to all, that may have been me. Didn`t realise they were all shown at once. Removed all but the highest scores in each category.
